It is with great sadness that RDA Sydney acknowledges the loss of RDA Sydney committee member, Paul Tosi. He is remembered for his passion and commitment to the Sydney community. In previous roles he showed the same dedication for Campbelltown as well as South-Western Sydney in general.

Paul was appointed to the RDA Sydney Committee 24th July 2015 and was an active and dedicated member of the Committee until his passing.

Campbelltown City Council is one of the largest and fasted growing Councils in New South Wales and as General Manager Paul was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Council and an annual budget in excess of $145 million.

Prior to his appointment with Council Paul had worked as a Real Estate Valuer with The Valuer General's Department, the Australian Taxation Office and the Housing Commission of New South Wales.

Dr Rob Lang, Chair of RDA Sydney Committee, expressed his condolences to the late Paul Tosi.

“He was truly a great man and will be remembered for his enormous contributions to others, but for me I shall always recall his warm smile and sharp intellect”.

Dr Jim Taggart, Deputy Chair of RDA Sydney Committee said:”Paul was a very gentle and warm person; He always had the time to say hello and wanted to know how you were as a person; When the RDA committee was first formed I got to know him reasonably well; we are better people because of his contribution to our committee and the people of southwestern Sydney”

Executive Officer of RDA Sydney, Bob Germaine said “He will be sorely missed! For those who knew him well, he was a very active and passionate GM of Campbelltown Council over many years who presided over incredible growth in South West Sydney. He was well connected to both sides of politics and very committed to support to his local region of South West Sydney”

Narelle Kennedy, RDA Sydney Committee member “I am really saddened by this news. Paul was a rare combination of a sharp mind and a buoyant sense of humour, and will be greatly missed. Vale Paul!”

Barry Alchin, RDA Sydney Committee member “he impressed me with his passion & friendliness”

Karin Bishop, RDA Sydney Committee member “I'm so sorry to hear this news. Paul was a legend in local government and leaves a great legacy of strong leadership in MACROC, Campbelltown and Western Sydney”
